First Night Carlisle is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that
provides quality family oriented entertainment on New Year’s Eve in
downtown Carlisle. How would you like to be one of the planners and
organizers of this great community event? We could use your help to
make this event a success. Volunteers are needed
throughout the year to serve on the planning committees. Committees
include: Logistics/Venues, PR/Marketing, Programming, Fund
Development, Administration, Hospitality, and Volunteers. Meetings are
held once a month with some additional meetings closer to the actual
event.
Volunteers are also needed to help out the night
of the event as button sellers, button checkers and greeters, and site
managers. We also need help to set up and take down the signs and
banners, set up and take down tables and chairs, and empty trash, and
other such tasks. Additional volunteers are also necessary to staff
the volunteer table and the hospitality room.
Volunteers will receive one free admission button
so you can attend the events when your shift is over or before your
shift starts.
