New to First Night®?
Here’s a guide to your evening’s experience.
IMPORTANT
BUTTON INFO: After you purchase your First Night®
Carlisle admission button, please pin it to an outside layer of
clothing so it can be easily seen to gain admission to venues
throughout the night. Many patrons enjoy collecting these artful
buttons from year to year.
EVENING
PLANNING: Take a moment to make a plan for the evening. The program
is full of information about the evening’s entertainment. If you need
help deciding where to go next, board members are available
throughout, so feel free to ask one what might be a good choice.
THE BIG
EVENT:
Enjoy
the special “CAR”lisle
drop before the Fireworks spectacular sponsored by Tuckey
WEATHER:
Most events are inside buildings, but please dress for the weather.
Walking between venues can be cold and/or wet. A limited supply of
rain ponchos and hand warmers are available in the Carlisle Theatre.
FIRST AID:
A first aid kit is available at the Carlisle Theatre.
ALCOHOL:
First Night®
Carlisle is a non-alcoholic event.
FOOD: Many
restaurants keep late hours to accommodate First Night®
patrons, there are also convenience stands in various locations.
Lost & Found: If you
or a loved one is lost, or if you find a lost person, please go to the
Carlisle Theatre. Same goes for lost items.
Bathrooms:
Porta-potties are located at the parking lot of JFC Staffing.
Additionally, many venues have bathrooms that are available for First
Night®
Patrons.
Trash: Please use the
provided trash receptacles throughout the event.
SURVEYS:
Your voice is important to us! Surveys are available at most locations
and online. Please take a moment to fill out a survey on the night or
afterwards so we can continue to bring you the very best New Year’s
Eve experience in Central PA.

First Night®
Carlisle is a non-profit organization. All proceeds generated from
sponsors, patrons and button sales are directed back into the
organization. Donation jars will be available at select venues
throughout the downtown area. If you are considering a larger donation
(over $100), please contact us for a receipt and/or information about
sponsorship. |
