The Harrisburg Shakespeare Festival is central Pennsylvania’s only professional theatre dedicated to performing the works of Shakespeare and other classic playwrights. The Festival performs two full-length classics each summer: one free to the public in Reservoir Park, Harrisburg, and one at an indoor location. BARD SENSELESS, the comedic, touring troupe of H.S.F., performs throughout the year at area festivals, libraries and other special events including The Independence Day Festival, Kipona Festival, and The New Year’s Eve Celebration for The City of Harrisburg, and is happy to be back at First Night Carlisle.
